"Brethren, we have met to worship" first published by William Moore (ca.1790- ca. 1850) in the tunebook "Columbian Harmony" (1829). This is one of the oldest published American folk hymns. The Arrangement for guitar was done by Patrick Russ (*1954) and has been recorded in 1982 - released in 1986 - with Angel Records. The albums name was "Simple Gifts". Toningenieur: Georg Niehusmann guitar: Otto Vowinkel, Concert Model 1A (2017)   "Nächtliche Brandung" is the 2nd movements of the cycle "Treeß Piecen" which was written by Marius Bajog in 2013. It is the "twin" of another cycle of pieces for solo guitar, called "Piecen Viere".   The Treeß Piecen cycle is meant to bring together three different musical ideas, similar to the Piecen Viere cycle, although the style of the pieces is not as contrasting, but rather consistent.
